Giovanni will discuss her own struggles with learning to listen to God's voice and helpful strategies for starting a spiritual dialogue.
Beginning Saturday, October 5, 2002, Giovanni will discuss her book on XM Radio (channel 169) 6:15 p.m. eastern standard time and Sunday, October 6 on "The Light" with Craig Wright WEAA Radio 88.9 FM in Baltimore from 11-12 p.m. The show can be heard on line at www.WEAA.org. On Wednesday, October 9, she will be a guest on ContactTalk Radio at 9:00 p.m. PST.
"Each and every one of us on the planet can hear God if we choose to," Giovanni said. "I believe He actually speaks to all of us every day but not everyone listens and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with radio listeners all over the country."
Giovanni said she felt compelled to write this book during her own struggles with her relationship with God. "Over the years I have indeed found it very difficult to accept the words that I was hearing ... especially when my head was telling me to do one thing and God was telling me to do the complete opposite! It's a very hard road, and not always easy."
Giovanni added that she has been talking to God since 1996. A meeting and event planner for more than fifteen years, Giovanni owns a successful consulting business with her husband, and lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children. God, is that you? is currently available in bookstores nationwide and in Canada. You can also purchase a copy through several on-line bookstores including Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Have You Ever Wanted To Call God On The Telephone And Have A Conversation?
For immediate release: May 6, 2002
NewRoad Publishing announces a new book...God, is that you? Written by Katharine Giovanni, the book guides the reader on "how to" have an actual conversation with God. Uplifting and anecdotal in nature, this nondenominational guide offers examples on how to listen to His voice and how to respond with real words and sentences.
"I am truly pleased with this book and am thrilled to offer suggestions and guidelines for anyone seeking a closer relationship with God," Giovanni said. "It will challenge people to listen to the voice of God in their everyday lives and to understand that they can hold conversations with God on a daily basis."
Giovanni said that by outlining a simple, easy-to-learn technique, the book stresses that anyone can listen to God. He doesn't just talk to religious leaders like cardinals, rabbis, and ministers. For those seeking clear, understandable answers or the spiritually curious, this book offers real-world examples of how to have a more personal relationship with God. "We've been taking other people's word for what God has said for thousands of years now," Giovanni said, "I think that it's time to have your own conversation with God and get your own personal answers."
Giovanni added that she has been talking to God since 1996. A meeting and event planner for more than fifteen years, Giovanni owns a successful consulting business with her husband, and lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children.
This book will be available in bookstores around the country and in Canada by September 2002. To order, please click here to go to the book's page on Amazon. It is also available on Barnes and Noble's site.
